Newsong Church is seeking a children's pastor who will pastor children of grades 1st to 6th, leading them in worship, teaching, and education activities throughout the year along with teachers and parents and other lay staff of education ministry as a team. The candidate will be part of our pastoral ministry team supervised by the EM/Education Pastor.
A candidate must have experience with children and able to communicate in English plus some Korean language will be helpful. Additionally we are looking for someone who is in seminary or graduated from seminary. Salary: $1,200 part-time.
Duties
To assist with providing pastoral care, teaching and preaching under the supervision of the senior pastor and Education pastor.
Equip and edify children and children volunteers in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ
Plan and coordinate VBS, and special programs including Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter and other ministry programs and events for the children ministry.
Oversee and train ministry teams and volunteers in service to the church and local community.
