Integrated Master’s with Doctoral Degree Program

This program is an integrated program in which students have expanded opportunities to experience academic research and systematic practicum covered in master’s degree and doctoral degree. Students enrolled in the integrated program focus on master’s courses for the first three semesters (at least 27 credits gained) designed to hone their actual ministerial strategies. Then, they can have opportunities to take master’s courses and doctoral courses at the same time and gradually transfer to more academic research settings. Students need to complete all the requirements for DMin in CCSF. They are waived the completion exam for the master’s degree and do not have to repeat the admission process for the doctoral program. Once they pass the oral defense for their doctoral project, they can earn the doctoral degree.

Learning outcomes

In accordance with World Mission University’s central objectives, the Integrated program seeks to enable students to

1. Engage their ministerial context with theological acumen and critical thinking by the integration of theology and psychology,

2. Articulate and respond to crucial ministry issues in diverse personal and cultural contexts,

3. Enhance and practice Christian counseling and spiritual formation at advanced levels as Christian leaders in order to contribute to positive transformation of the world,

4. Demonstrate dedication to the personal and spiritual maturity.

Students will engage in research and writing, and produce a dissertation project integrating theory, literature and field practice.
